Bhopal . Now, in the name of treatment of Corona disease (Corona), the arbitrary robbery of private hospitals will be tightened. The government has formed an inquiry committee after receiving a complaint of arbitrary billing. This team of three senior IAS officers will not only investigate the complaint of arbitrary bill but will also resolve it.

Action will also be taken against the defaulting hospitals if the complaint of over-billing is found to be correct. The Darsal government was receiving such complaints from many places that some private hospitals were charging arbitrary money from the patients. In view of this, it has been decided to form a committee of inquiry.

Who joins the committee?

The government has formed a committee to investigate the billing of hospitals, in which two officers of principal secretary level and one officer of secretary level have been included. Principal Secretaries Sanjay Dubey and Prateek Hazela have been included in the committee. Apart from this, Secretary-level officer Sanjay Goyal is also its member.

How will the investigation be done?

All hospitals have already announced their tariffs for treatment of Kovid. These tariffs are also uploaded on meaningful apps which can be seen in public. If a hospital charges more than this fixed tariff, then its complaint can be made before this committee. Earlier, the government has also fixed the rate of blood test from CT scan to be done in the treatment of corona. Due to this, the arbitrariness of path lab operators has been curbed to a great extent.
