These compounds present in Giloy are effective against various disorders, such as diabetes, cancer, neurological problems, fever etc.
How to consume Giloy?
According to Ayurveda, Giloy can be consumed either in the form of powder or can also be used as kadha (decoction) or juice. Nowadays it is also available in capsules and readymade powder. Giloy also applies topically as a paste for skin problems.
The regular dose of Giloy is one teaspoon, taken twice a day. The dosage may vary depending on the type of health problem.
How to prepare Giloy juice?
To prepare Giloy juice, you need some clean, cut branches of the plant. Mix these chopped branches in a fine, green liquid paste with a cup of water. Now to make Giloy juice, sieve this green paste with a sieve.

1: Giloy for chronic fever

It is an anti-inflammatory, antipyretic herb that helps to increase your immunity to fight infection and also helps in quick recovery. Giloy has febrile (antipyretic) properties that reduce fever.
How to use - Take 2-3 tablespoons of Giloy juice and equal amount of water. Mix them well. Drink this mixture daily in the morning on an empty stomach.
2: Giloy for dengue fever
Giloy is a antipyretic herb. It improves platelet count in dengue fever and reduces the likelihood of complications. Regular intake of Giloy helps improve immunity during dengue and also for faster recovery. For better results, boil Giloy juice with a few basil leaves and drink it to increase platelet count.
How to use - Extract the fresh stalk juice of Giloy and mix it with 5-7 basil leaves and boil it with 1/2 cup of water and drink it daily. It helps to increase platelet count
3: Giloy for hay fever
Giloy is also very useful as an allergic rhinitis in hay fever. It reduces symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, nasal blockage, watery eyes. To reduce the temperature, eat with a teaspoon of Giloy Powder mixed with honey before meals.

4: Giloy for corona-virus infection
Giloy can boost immunity so it can be useful for various fevers, especially for viral fevers such as corona infections. Although there is no evidence that Giloy can cure corona infection but it can increase your immunity to fight against it. According to some scientific studies, the results show promising results for controlling corona infection.
How to use it - You can take Giloy Kadha or Giloy juice twice a day for 4-6 weeks. Some studies suggest that a combination of Giloy and Ashwagandha can provide you with a shield against this deadly infection.
5: controls blood sugar level
In Ayurveda, Giloy is known as 'Madhunashini' which means 'destroying sugar'. It helps to increase the production of insulin which ultimately regulates blood sugar levels. Giloy is also useful for diabetes complications such as ulcers, kidney problems.
