Popular TV journalist and anchor Rohit Sardana has passed away. On April 24, Rohit Sardana, 42, had tweeted that he had been found corona infected in a CT scan.
Then he also said that his condition was improving but he died six days later. The channel has informed that he died of cardiac arrest.
Rohit Sardana's colleague and senior India Today TV journalist Rajdeep Sardesai also confirmed Rohit's death by tweeting.
Rajdeep wrote in his tweet, "Rohit and my political views did not match, but we always argued without any malice. We did a show one night (probably the Supreme Court verdict on Karnataka) and it was completed in the wee hours of three o'clock. After the show was over, Rohit said - Boss today was fun. Home Minister Amit Shah has also tweeted and paid tribute to Rohit's death. Amit Shah wrote in the tweet, "I am distressed by the untimely demise of Rohit Sardana."
