Who is responsible for the deadly side effect of the second wave!

No work has been done to improve the infrastructure, the provision of medicines, the provision of oxygen and today when there is chaos across the country, the supporters of the government are saying that this is unpredictable.

The arrival of the second wave of Corona is not unexpected, but this government will be so disastrous administratively, it seems unexpected to me also.

● Another major crisis of administrative inefficiency that is coming up is the Corona related vaccination of the country. Citizens above the age of 18 years have to be vaccinated from May 1, but till now the government has neither made any vaccine system nor formulated a disputed price policy. So far only 1.3% of the people have been fully vaccinated, while in other countries of the world this percentage is very high.

The question is often asked whether the state governments are not to blame for this mismanagement. A review of the work of the State Governments is also necessary and they too cannot be relieved of the mismanagement. Every state government has its own task force and they too are battling this epidemic with their own means. But their resources are limited, the financial sources are less and after the introduction of GST, they are mostly dependent on the Center for funds. Even now the contribution of states which they should get in GST is not received. Also, the Central Government has most of the powers in the Pandemic Act.

Nevertheless, some states have done remarkable work to combat this epidemic from their level. Kerala is at the top of such states. If we look at the daily figures, then cases of infection are not coming down in Kerala either. But there is not as much violence for medicine, bed or oxygen as there is in UP, MP, Rajasthan or other big states. The patient and his family are not ill in Kerala. There is no atmosphere of chaos. Prakash's Ray has given some facts about it on social media, read it.

● Kerala is the only state in the country where there is excess oxygen and it is being sent from Goa, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The fact is that 199 metric tonnes of oxygen is produced every day in the state. The total capacity of producing oxygen every day is 204 MT.

● According to the data of a few days ago, for severe corona sufferers, 35 metric tons of oxygen is needed daily and those sick with other diseases need about 45 metric tons.

● It was only after the first phase of the epidemic that the number of beds with Intensive Care Unit in Kerala was increased significantly. Information from a few days ago states that out of total 9735 intensive care unit beds available in the state, only 999 beds are inpatients. The rest are empty.

● The number of ventilators in Kerala was almost doubled after the first round of Corona. At present, there are a total of 3776 ventilators, out of which only 277 are in use. The rest are empty.

● From the Prime Minister to the Chief Minister of many states are talking about giving Corona vaccine for free, election promises are being made, but only Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said before and after the election that free universal vaccination started independent India Has been the policy and his government is committed to follow it. Even after the election, he has repeated his point.

● From the early days of Kovid, the Chief Minister comes in front of the press every evening and tells about the situation on that day.
